| Description | EN: This training aims to provide doctoral students with an overview of formal theories designed to account for the syntax of the world's languages. Each speaker will present a different theoretical framework, explaining the context in which it emerged and dedicating part of their presentation to a specific syntactic phenomenon. The sessions will be accessible to a non-specialist audience and will aim to enable participants to situate the various frameworks in relation to one another. FR: Cette formation a pour objectif de présenter aux doctorant-es un panorama de théories formelles permettant de rendre compte de la syntaxe des langues du monde. Chaque intervenant-e présentera un cadre théorique différent en précisant le contexte dans lequel il a émergé et consacrera une partie à un phénomène syntaxique. Les présentations seront accessibles à un public non initié et auront pour but de rendre capable de situer les différents cadres les uns par rapport aux autres. |
